Wild Dunes Real Estate Your Beachfront Community

Wild Dunes consists of 2135 properties (single family homes, condominiums, townhomes and vacant lots) located on the eastern tip of the Isle of Palms. The Wild Dunes Community Association (also known as the Isle of Palms Beach and Racquet Club) was established April 7, 1977 and became independent from the developer in 1987. In 1998, WDCA moved to directly employ its own work force with the hiring of its first General Manager and staff. The Community Association provides continuity between the various Wild Dunes neighborhoods by ensuring architectural integrity, maintaining common properties, providing services to owners, promoting community pride and protecting property values.

Wild Dunes Beaches

The Wild Dunes Community boasts almost two and one-half miles of Atlantic Ocean beachfront and one mile of inlet shoreline along Dewees Inlet. The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control – Office of Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) classifies the northeastern end of the Isle of Palms beach as an unstabilized inlet zone, which means Dewees Inlet has not been stabilized by jetties, terminal groins or other structures, and the downdrift beaches are significantly influenced by inlet migration, changes to the ebb tidal delta and the effects of shoal by-passing and attachment.

Wild Dunes Club

With Membership, Wild Dunes becomes so much more than a world-class resort. It becomes a private sanctuary. A relaxing and wonderful place to visit with friends, family, or business associates.
